Centre-state working for development of villages: Meghwal

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Water Resources Arjunram Meghwal said today that the Centre and the state of Rajasthan were working together for the holistic development of villages.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to double farmers' income by 2022 and efforts are being made to facilitate farmers in all manners, he said while addressing a gathering in Bikaner.

Villages are being strengthened through developmental works including roads, power, gas connections etc, he said.
