It was a chilly morning in the national capital on Tuesday, with an official from the MeT Department predicting light rains in a few areas towards the evening.
The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 am was 8.8 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, he said.
The humidity level was recorded at 92 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted that the clear sky may become partly cloudy towards the afternoon and there can be light rains in a few areas of the city towards the evening.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at around 23 and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively," the official added.
On Monday, the maximum and minimum temperature had settled at 24.8 and 8.2 degrees Celsius, respectively.
