Chris McKay to direct 'The Lego Movie' sequel

Chris McKay, who won an Emmy for his work on Cartoon Network's 'Robot Chicken', has been tapped to direct the second installment of 'The Lego Movie'.
McKay previously served as one of the editors in the original animated film, reported Ace Showbiz.
Jared Stern and Michelle Morgan will pen the script for the sequel. The original was directed and written by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The duo will now, instead, serve as executive producers for the follow-up.

'The Lego Movie' opened this January to an overwhelmingly positive review.
