Chris Rock once tried flirting with Rihanna

Comic-actor Chris Rock has revealed he once tried flirting with Rihanna but was quickly shot down by the singer. The 53-year-old actor said he approached the "Work" singer at a party, sometime after he divorced Malaak Compton-Rock, his wife of 16 years in 2016, Page Six reported. "I'm like, 'How you doing Rihanna?' Rihanna looked at me like I was one of her aunts. She didn't even register me as a d**k-carrying member of society. Like, I would have had an easier time f**king Aretha Franklin," Rock said on his new Netflix special, "Tamborine".

The actor added he and the 29-year-old musician have a considerable amount of age gap. Rock, however, is currently dating actor Megalyn Echikunwoke, who is 34.
