Christmas celebrated with enthusiasm in Pb & Har

Christmas was celebrated with enthusiasm across Punjab and Haryana today as special prayers were held at churches across the two states including their common capital Chandigarh.

People were seen exchanging greetings with each other.

Sparkling Christmas trees were set up in Chandigarh's main markets and shopping malls. The places were decked up with colourful balloons, buntings and goodies.

Colourful gift items adorned markets in Punjab and Haryana that wore a festive look.

Stores selling Christmas merchandise were filled with shoppers, who came out in large numbers braving the biting winter chill.
