CID arrests man involved in attack on Sadar police station

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of West Bengal Police has arrested one person for his alleged involvement in the attack of Sadar police station of Darjeeling during the Gorkhaland agitation, a senior police officer said.

The CID arrested Dawa Sherpa, a resident of Alipurduar from Bagdogra yesterday for his alleged involvement in the Sadar police station attack case, DIG (Operations) of CID, Nishat Pervez said.

A mob attacked Sadar police station in July last year during the Gorkhaland agitation.
