Cold, dry weather in UP

The weather in most parts of Uttar Pradesh was cold and dry on Thursday, the meteorological department said.

Muzaffarnagar was the coldest place in the state at 4.5 degrees Celsius, it said.

The minimum temperature in Lucknow was 7.8 degrees Celsius and the maximum was recorded at 23.5 degrees Celsius, the Met department said.

The weather conditions are likely to remain the same till Friday, it said.
