Concession in transfer of Har teachers suffering from certain

Under the new Teachers Transfer Policy of Haryana government, those suffering from ailments which have been notified as 'diseases of debilitating disorder' will be entitled for special concession in transfer.

The concession would also be applicable to teachers whose dependents are suffering from the notified diseases, state Education minister Ram Bilas Sharma said.

Diseases notified by the School Education Department in consultation with Health Department include chronic heart and artery diseases, chronic renal failure, brain tumours and malignancy of different organs, paraplegia, quadriplegia or hemiplegia, Multiple Sclerosis, Myasthenia Gravis and Parkinson's Disease, he said.

Necessary certificate must be issued by AIIMS and its branches in Haryana, PGIMER Chandigarh, PGIMS Rohtak, PGI, Khanpur Kalan, Kalpana Chawla Medical College, Karnal or Medical Board constituted in the districts, Sharma added.
