Congress today blamed AAP government and municipal bodies headed by BJP for "poor" de-silting works in Delhi, saying they were the cause for water-logging in many parts of the city following heavy rains.
"The municipal bodies claim de-silting done, so does PWD. But after today's rains, it really shows that they have not done their work. People of Delhi are experiencing water- logging for themselves.
"The fight between Centre and state government has affected work. The corporations are blaming PWD and PWD is blaming corporations," Delhi Congress' chief spokesperson Sharmistha Mukherjee said on the sidelines of an Iftar party organised by the unit.

Mukherjee also slammed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for "spending hefty public money on self glorification".
"Primarily, it is only about Kejriwal, Kejriwal, Kejriwal. Now in some of the radio advertisements Manish Sisodiaji's name is being heard. The campaign shows government's priority," Mukherjee said.
When asked by reporters if the party was trying to win back voters from Muslim community through such an event, Mukherjee refuted the same saying, "It is a tradition of the party that we have been following".
Congress also reiterated its demand for appointment of Lokayukta in the state.
Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, who too attended the Iftar party, said there has been no Lokayukta in the state ever since her party was voted out of power.
Questioning AAP on the non-appointment of a Lokayukta, she said many of its leaders with fake degrees had contested the Delhi election and with time, many such instances will come out in open.
Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken refused to comment on political issues, saying the event was a "cultural" one.
The party was also attended by party's Delhi unit minority cell office-bearers and functionaries.
