A Congress councillor of Kolkata Municipal Corporation today met CBI officials and handed over some documents related to Saradha Group ponzy scheme scam.
"I have met CBI regarding the Saradha Chit Fund scam investigation and handed them few documents, which includes complaints of several duped investors," said the councillor Prakash Upadhaya.
Upadhaya had earlier hit the headlines after he questioned the role of Trinamool Congress controlled KMC in granting trade licences to several companies of Saradha Group.
"I have requested them (CBI) to investigate all the matters including this trade license thing," Upadhaya added.
