Congress names fresh state committees for Assam, Arunachal
The Congress today announced fresh state committees for Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee has eight vice presidents, 10 general secretaries and 15 secretaries.
In Assam, the party will have 22 vice presidents, 44 general secretaries, 106 secretaries, 36 executive members and 25 permanent invitees, including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who represents the state in the Rajya Sabha.
