Congress seeks dismantling of BRTS corridor in Indore

Madhya Pradesh Congress today demanded that Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) corridor should be dismantled in Indore as being done in Delhi.

"In the absence of space and due to faulty construction, the BRTS (aimed at smoothening traffic) has turned futile in Indore. Due to this public transport, traffic jams for hours are taking place in busy Agra-Bombay (AB) road, State Congress spokesman Narendra Saluja said.

"Like Delhi, efforts should be launched to dismantle BRTS in Indore as well. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan should initiate steps in this direction, he demanded.
