Convict hangs self in jail 'upset' over kin not visiting him

A murder convict allegedly committed suicide atthe Central prisonhere 'upset' over his wife and family members not visiting him, police said.

Pandari Kishan from Maharashtra reportedly hanged himself in a toilet in the prison. He was taken to a hospital where he died, police added.

Kishan was serving a jail-term since July 24, 2014 after being convicted in a murder case, prison SuperintendentNMuraliBabu said.
