Convict kills self in jail a day after being awarded life term
A day after he was awarded life sentence in connection with a murder case, a 42-year-old man committed suicide in Ramgarh jail today, police said.
Dalchand Mahto was found hanging from toilet ventilator with a 'gamchha' this evening.
A Ramgarh court yesterday sentenced him to life imprisonment in connection with a murder case.

His family members alleged that Mahto did not kill himself but he was murdered.
The SP said that the incident would be investigated.
