Cops looking for man who fired in air to celebrate birthday

City police are looking for a young man who allegedly fired in the air to celebrate his birthday.

Police came across a video on the social media in which Mirza Ibrahim Ali (22) is seen firing in the air outside his house to celebrate his birthday.

The incident was apparently of May 5 but the video was spotted only today, said inspector P Yadagiri of Falaknuma police station in the city.

"Preliminary probe found that he fired in the air as a part of his birthday celebrations. Though the date mentioned on the social media site is May 5, we have to verify when it happened," he said.
 

A case was registered under the Arms Act and police were trying to trace Ali, he said.
