Cottonseed oilcake prices slipped by Rs 15 to Rs 4,206 per quintal in future trading today as participants indulged in trimming their positions amid a weak trend at the spot markets.
Marketmen said a lower trend in spot markets mainly kept pressure on cottonseed oilcake prices at futures trade here.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, castorseed for delivery in current month moved down by Rs 15 or 0.36 per cent to Rs 4,206 per quintal, with an open interest of 22,970 lots.
Cottonseed oilcake for most-active delivery in April month contracts also fell by Rs 11, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 4,277 per quintal, having an open interest of 95,120 lots.
