Coupon app Hoppr integrates with TMG under Hike

App service Hike Messenger today announced the integration of coupon app Hoppr and gaming app Tiny Mogul Games (TMG) under the brand Hike.

Hike Messenger is founded by Kavin Bharti Mittal, son of Bharti Enterprises chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal.

With the integration, Hike is looking at bringing high quality gaming to the platform with the aim of building a service that goes beyond simple messaging, the company said in a statement.

In addition to games, the integration will bring coupons from a host of 200 brands to Hike.

Treebo to expand operations in Delhi, Mumbai & Jaipur * Bengaluru-based tech enabled chain of reliable hotels Treebo today said it is expanding its operations across Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur from August 15.
 

Treebo offers budget accommodation with 100 per cent guaranteed quality to travellers, through online booking, the company said in a release.

The group has recently raised a USD 6 million financing round led by Matrix Partners India and SAIF Partners and will be utilising it for its nationwide expansion.

Treebo partners with small, standalone hotels and helps them improve their service quality standards and also market themselves more effectively, it said.

Bharti Foundation hands over 5,000 toilets for free in Punjab * Bharti Foundation has handed over more than 5,000 Individual House Hold Latrines (IHHL) free of cost in 210 villages across Ludhiana in Punjab, under its Rs 100 crore 'Satya Bharti Abhiyan' initiative.

"We remain fully committed to the program and are confident that within the next two years every rural household without a toilet in the district will be provided with one," Bharti Foundation Co-Chairman Rakesh Bharti Mittal said.

Besides, more than 1500 toilets are currently under construction in 64 additional villages.

The initiative was launched in August 2014 to contribute to government's 'Swachh Bharat' mission. It has so far benefited over 25,000 people through the construction of IHHL.
