Crocodile enters village

A crocodile Wednesday entered a village in Sahibganj district, a Forest official said here.

The crocodile entered Madan Sahi village situated near the river Ganga, the official said.

"Around 6 am the villagers called and informed that the crocodile entered their Madan Sahi village. Immediately a team was sent and caught the reptile," Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Manish Tiwari said.

The DFO said the crocodile, which did not harm anybody, was released in the river.
