CRPF jawans killed by dacoits

CRPF jawan Yudhistir Mahato was in his home at Mukundapur village under Joynagar block of the district last night when some dacoits entered his house and tried to loot, Superintendent of Police C Sudhakar said.

Mahato resisted the dacoits from looting his house and the dacoits attacked him with sharp edged weapons killing him, the SP said.

An inquiry into the incident is on, the SP added.
