Crude oil futures eased 1.09 per cent to Rs 2,915 per barrel today as speculators reduced positions amid a weakening trend in Asian markets.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in July traded Rs 32 or 1.09 per cent lower, at Rs 2,915 per barrel in 3,407 lots.
Oil for August delivery also moved down Rs 32, or 1.08 per cent, to Rs 2,942 per barrel in 96 lots.

The trading sentiment dampened in futures trade after oil prices fell in Asia today,analysts said.
Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was down 56 cents, or 1.23 per cent, to USD 44.96, while Brent crude eased 56 cents, or 1.16 per cent, to USD 47.55 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
