Crude palm oil down by 0.3% on low demand

Higher supplies from producing regions also affected prices

Crude palm oil down by 0.3% on low demand

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Amid muted domestic demand and higher supplies from producing regions, crude palm oil prices traded lower by 0.32% to Rs 408.70 per 10 kg in futures trading today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in December weakened by Rs 1.30, or 0.32%, to Rs 408.70 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 36 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in November shed Rs 1.20, or 0.30%, to Rs 400.60 per 10 kg in 99 lots.

Marketmen said offloading of positions by traders due to muted demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position, mainly led to decline in crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
