Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil prices drifted 0.80 per cent to Rs 394.30 per 10 kg today after speculators booked profits at prevailing levels amid subdued spot demand.

At Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in September declined Rs 3.20, or 0.80 per cent, to Rs 394.30 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 723 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in October fell Rs 3.10, or 0.78 per cent, to Rs 393 per 10 kg in 804 lots.

Analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators at existing levels, subdued demand in the spot market and a weak trend overseas kept pressure on crude palm oil futures prices.
