Crude palm oil prices declined further by 0.11 per cent to Rs 454.10 per 10 kg in futures trading today as traders indulged in reducing positions amid higher supplies in spot markets from producing belts.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in June month shed 50 paise, or 0.11 per cent to Rs 454.10 per 10 kg in business turnover of 255 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in May contracts traded lower by 30 paise, or 0.07 per cent to Rs 453.50 per 10 kg in 117 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions by participants, triggered by higher supplies from producing belts against low demand in the spot market, mainly kept crude palm oil prices lower at futures trade.
