Oil for delivery in October edged up by 0.13%

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil marginally up by 0.42% to Rs 473.30 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants enlarged positions, taking positive cues from the spot markets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in September moved up by Rs 2, or 0.42%, to Rs 473.30 per 10 kg in business turnover of 65 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in October edged up by 60 paise, or 0.13%, to Rs 459 per 10 kg in 48 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions built-up by speculators triggered by rising demand in the spot market mainly influenced crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
