Customs sleuths today seized 906 gram of heroin worth Rs 90.7 lakh from a train at Forbesganj railway station here, officials said.
Acting on a tip off, Customs officials with the assistance of RPF men launched a search operation in Jogbani-Anand Vihar Seemanchal Express and found two packets of heroin from the bathroom of a coach, Forbesganj Circle Assistant Customs Collector RP Sinha said.
However, the smugglers managed to escape from the spot, Sinha said adding investigation is underway.
