"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actress Daisy Ridley will star in "The Lost Wife", a pre-World War II romantic drama based on the novel by Alyson Richman.

In the movie set in 1930's Prague, 24-year-old Ridley will play a talented art student named Lenka who falls madly in love with her best friend's older brother Josef, reported Variety.

Their love life gets ruined by the imminent Nazi invasion.

Written by Marc Klein, "The Lost Wife" still has no studio or director attached. The film is apparently a top priority and will be brought to the Cannes Film Festival next month.

Ridley is currently filming "Star Wars Episode VIII", in which she will reprise her role as Rey. She will next reunite with "The Force Awakens" director JJ Abrams in "Kolma", a remake of the Israeli film "All I've Got".
