Dakshineswhar Suresh beats Prithvi Sekhar to win title

Top-seed Dakshineshwar Suresh defeated second-seed Prithvi Sekhar 6-3, 6-1 on Sunday in the final of the Sri Aravindar & Co AITA ranking men's tennis tournament organised by MPTA @ KTC here.

Dakshineshwar was untroubled against his rival and closed out the match in an hour and 15 minutes.

Earlier in the semifinals, the top-seed had beaten Faisal Qamar 6-4, 6-3 while Sekhar overcame a determined Siddharth Arya in a long-drawn match at 6-3, 5-7, 7-5.
