Decomposed body of a six-year-old girl was found from a drain in northeast Delhi's Karawal Nagar area this morning, sending shock waves in the locality.
The girl, whose right hand was found detached from her body and three fingers of her left hand missing, had been missing since April 6.
"Prima facie it seems that the girl was kidnapped by someone who later killed her and threw the body in the drain. Some animals may have done this to the decomposing body. Whether these injuries are prior to death or post, this will be known only after an autopsy," said a senior police official.
