Delhi government today said it would appeal to all MLAs of the city to plant at least 2,000 saplings each in their constituencies to achieve the target of planting 14 lakh saplings across the city this year.
Delhi Environment Minister Asim Ahmed Khan said the AAP government will launch a comprehensive campaign against air pollution in the city next month.
A meeting of the greening agencies, including MCD, DDA, NDMC, various Delhi government departments and PSUs, has been convened on Monday to take forward the campaign.
