Devotees today participated in the Car festival held in connection with the Arudhra festival at the Natarajamoorthy temple here.
The presiding deities-- Nataraja, Sivakamasundari, Subramaniar, Vinayaka and Chandikeswarar-- were brought in five different cars which were pulled through the east,west,north and south streets of the temple one by one.
The special arudhya darshan would be held tommorow.
The Arudhra festival began on December 27 with the hoisting of the temple flag.
