Devotees today paid obeisance on the annual Urs at the Hazarat Shah Mohammad Farid-Ud-Din Shrine in Kishtwar district.
A large number of devotees started gathering at the shrine since early morning as the annual Urs Sharief of Hazarat Shah Mohammad Farid-Ud-Din at Ziarat complex began with religious fervour, officials said here.
Minister of state for Home, Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo, also paid obeisance at the shrine.
The Urs of Shah Mohammad Farid-Ud-Din is observed every year on 7th Har Vikrami Samvat calender, usually falling on June 19 or 20, they added.
Meanwhile, district administration and Auqaf Islamia have made elaborate arrangements for peaceful and hassle-free celebration of the annual Urs.
