Dineshwar Sharma meets JK governor

The Centre's representative to Jammu and Kashmir, Dineshwar Sharma, today called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here, an official said.

Governor and Sharma held extended discussions regarding the crucial importance of maintaining peace and normalcy in the state alongside the effective functioning of the administrative apparatus, a Raj Bhawan spokesman said.

The meeting comes close in back drop of tension prevailing here after rape and murder case of a minor girl from the nomadic Bakerwal Muslim community.
