Delhi Metro Rail Corporation today made its second and final tunnel breakthrough on the up line at Shalimar Bagh under its phase III of construction.
This 1,443.50 meters tunnel is a part of Shalimar Bagh and Azadpur underground Metro stretch. This section is a part of 59 km-long Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar corridor of Phase III network that consists of about 14 kms of underground lines, a DMRC spokesperson said.
Earlier, the first TBM breakthrough on down line was achieved on November 7 at the same location.
