Wife of a homeopathic doctor was found dead with her throat slit at her residence in Patel Nagar area here, police said today.
Body of the 70-year-old woman was found lying in a pool of blood by her husband when he returned from clinic yesterday.
Police suspect the woman might have been murdered over a personal enmity as the assailants did not appear to have entered with an intention of loot because all the valuables were found intact.
Finger prints have been collected from the spot and the case is being investigated from all angles, police said.
