A 30-year-old married woman has allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze after a dispute with her husband in Rampura Ratan village in this district, police said today.
She died yesterday evening by setting herself ablaze after a dispute with her husband, police said.
Her one-year-old child also suffered serious burn injuries in the fire and later succumbed to injuries in a nearby hospital this morning, they said.
After receiving the news of death of the infant, Hargovind also committed suicide by consuming sulphas tablets, police said, adding that the bodies have been sent for post mortem.
