Drug peddler arrested, 35 kg poppy husk seized

An alleged drug peddler was arrested and 35 kg poppy husk was seized from his possession, police said today.

He has been identified as Lakhwinder Singh, a resident of Bagge village, a police spokesperson said.

His car was checked after which he was arrested.

The police has booked the alleged accused under the NDPS act and impounded his car, the spokesperson added.
