Police have arrested a suspected drug supplier and seized heroin worth Rs 20 crore from him.
31-year-old Nand Kishor Joshi, a resident of Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh, was arrested here on June 19, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) P S Kushwaha said.
The Special Cell had been working on information about a drug syndicate active in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab and other states for the last three to four months.

The members of this syndicate are involved in supply of high-grade heroin from Madhya Pradesh to Delhi and adjoining states in India, said the officer.
On June 19, the police received a tip-off about Joshi's arrival in Delhi with a large consignment of the drug. The consignment was to be delivered to one of his contacts near Hanuman Mandir, near the outer between 10 pm to 11pm.
A trap was laid and Joshi was nabbed. On searching his backpack, the police seized five kilograms of heroin worth Rs 20 crore in international market.
