Duo get 10 years' rigorous imprisonment for gangrape of minor

A local court has awarded 10 years' rigorous imprisonment to two persons in a case of gangrape of a minor here.

Additional District Judge Ashwani Kumar Singh yesterday handed the sentence to Sarvottam Chaube and Shivam Pandey after finding them guilty of the rape of a 16-year-old girl on May 23 this year at a private hospital in the Bansdeeh area.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 each on the convicts.
