Maharashtra Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse today asserted that he had already assigned duties to his deputy Sanjay Rathod of Shiv Sena, and it was wrong on the part of junior minister to insist on specific subjects.
Recently, Rathod had told reporters that he submitted his resignation to party chief Uddhav Thackeray since he had no work to do as a minister.
Talking to reporters today, Khadse rubbished the charge saying that a detailed work allocation order to the minister of state was issued on January 22.

Currently, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is probing some decisions of the erstwhile minister of state for revenue regarding gifting land to temple premises and tribals. Petitions have been filed in the High Court, the senior BJP leader said.
"It is wrong on part of the minister of state to insist on work related to allocation of gifted land to temples and tribals," Khadse said.
In fact, after the work allocation order on January 22, 57 cases of hearing have been completed at the office of the minister of state and sent for processing of the final order, he said.
Khadse said that a total of 2,500 cases for hearing are pending in the Revenue Department, out of which 53 cases have been sent to the minister of state's decision.
"Until the ACB probe into decisions of the previous minister of state is not complete, quasi judicial cases will not be given to Rathod and he wants precisely those powers," Khadse said.
