Maidan heavyweights East Bengal today unveiled their new title sponsor, Quess -- a business services provider, two months after they ended association with Bengaluru-based United Breweries Group.
The red and gold brigade who are yet to win the top tier I-League title will now be called Quess East Bengal FC Pvt Ltd.
"We found them the most suitable among all candidates," Kalyan Majumder, East Bengal's managing director, told reporters.
With a sponsor on board there is growing speculation that East Bengal may look to get into the lucrative Indian Super League (ISL) from the upcoming season.
"No decision has been taken regarding that. We have a meeting tomorrow. This is not the time to talk about that, East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar said.
