Edible and non-edible oils rule steady in listless trade

Edible and non-edible oil prices ruled virtually steady in an otherwise quiet Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today.

This was due to lack of buying activity on the back of ample stocks position.

In the edible segment, groundnut oil and refined palmolein finished unaltered at Rs 890 and 498 per 10 kg respectively.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil all closed unaltered at Rs 4,075 per 100 kg, and Rs 845 and Rs 760 per 10 kg, respectively.
