Groundnut oil declined at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to subdued demand from stockists and retailers amidst ample arrivals from producing region.
Refined palmolein slipped on lower demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, in non-edible section, castorseed bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil maintained stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil fell by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 945 from Monday's closing level of Rs 950 and refined palmolein moved down by Rs 6 per 10kg to Rs 466 as compared to Rs 472 previously.
In non-edible segment, castorseed bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil unaltered Rs 3,975 per 100kg, Rs 825 per 10kg and Rs 875 per 10kg respectively.
