Groundnut oil prices slipped in an otherwise listless Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following subdued demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein eased owing to lower offtake from retailers.
While castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseeds oil all held stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil fell by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 950 from Monday's closing level of Rs 955 and refined palmolein moved down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 620 as against Rs 625 yesterday.
Moving to the non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseeds oil all closed unchanged at Rs 4,550 per 100 kg, Rs 940 per 10 kg and Rs 770 per 10 kg, respectively.
