Egypt's national carrier allows hostesses to wear headscarves

The 'EgyptAir' has allowed the veil which was only mandatory for female stewardesses on flights to Saudi Arabia.
Aviation Minister Samir Imbaby last month accepted flight attendants' demand to wear the veil after almost a year of protests and lawsuits.
They will be temporarily allowed to wear a headscarf until they can replace it with a uniform cap to be released in December. The new uniform will be allowed on all of its flights in all countries, Tawfiq Assy, the head of EgyptAir, was quoted as saying by 'Ahram Online'.
In September for the first time in Egypt's history, a veiled woman anchored a state television programme.
