Eight college students were today arrested for allegedly "creating nuisance" and showing black flag to the government's Chief Whip in Rajasthan Assembly during a college function in Bhilwara city in Rajasthan.
The accused had "created nuisance" in the function at a government college under Kotwali police station area after which the police detained them, SHO Kotwali Nemichand said.
At the function, one student unfurled a black flag at Chief Whip in Rajasthan Assembly Kalulal Gujjar, he said.
After the incident, the eight students, who are associated with a youth wing of a political party, were arrested, he said.
