Elderly couple hit by speeding truck; dies

An elderly couple on a cycle was killed after a speeding truck hit them when they were crossing a road here on Wednesday, police said.

The incident happened in the morning near Wahida Nagar in Unjh area, a police official said.

The victims were identified as Chhote Lal (67) and Gora Devi (62), he said.

Police have arrested the truck driver, Sunil Chauhan, who hails from Bihar, the official said.
