Emergency Service Cell for LPG consumers of Pb, Chandigarh

Oil marketing PSU Indian Oil today launched a call centre-based emergency service cell for the exclusive use of its LPG customers in Chandigarh and Punjab so that they can complain in cases of leakage or any other emergencies.

"This ESC call centre will operate from 5 pm evening to 9 am morning (when distributor outlets remain closed) while it will run for 24 hours on holidays," Sudeb Gupta, Executive Director (Punjab) Indian Oil, said while launching the service here.

Gupta informed that Indian Oil started this new initiative, which has been on tial for the last one month, for the convenience of its around 35 lakh customers in Chandigarh and Punjab.
 

He said that in the event of any leakage from the cylinder after working hours, a customer can lodge complaint at the mobile number 8699247247.

The call centre will then coordinate with the mechanics of the distributors and get the leakage complaint attended, the Indian Oil official added.
