Press Trust of India Lucknow
Uttar Pradesh Assembly speaker Mata Prasad Pandey and Samajwadi Party MP Alok Tiwari have asked Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to ensure the payment to teachers posted in 28 Sanskrit schools of the state.

"I request you to probe the matter of non payment of teachers of 28 aided Sanskrit school," Pandey said in a letter to the state Chief Minister.

Tiwari also wrote to the CM stating that the payment to teachers of 28 schools is justified.

Office bearer of Bharat Vishwa Brahmin Samaj (BVBS) Yogesh Pandey, who brought the issue to the knowledge of the Speaker and MP, said that in 2007 the state had aided 246 Sanskrit schools but the process was stopped by previous BSP government due to which the teachers were suffering.
