Actor Ethan Hawke has been roped in to play the legendary jazz trumpeter Chet Baker in his biopic, 'Born To Be Blue'.
The film is written and directed by Canadian filmmaker Robert Budreau. The filming has begun, reported Deadline.
It is inspired by Baker's rise, fall and eventual resurgence. The story will chart his comeback in the late 1970s and the tumultuous love affair that changed the way he played music and helped him on the road to redemption after his self-destructive ways had seemingly destroyed his career.
