Explosives recovered in Kupwara

Army today recovered a cache of explosives and weapons from Kupwara district in North Kashmir.

"A patrol of a territorial army unit while crossing a stream in Trehgam chanced upon a cache which resulted in recovery of pistols and grenades," an Army spokesman said.

He said the weapons, concealed in a sack, included six pistols, eight UBGL shells and one hand grenade.
